Member of design research group based in the Computer Related Design department at the Royal College of Art. The FLIRT project investigated the potential of location specific information from digital cellular structures developed by the mobile communications industry, not only as an information resource, but also as a medium for social interaction and play.

Research methods included ethnographic participatory observation and Situationist city meanderings. Interactive phone applications were developed and trialled in Helsinki.
